I've read a similar chain mail going around.. but it was just 8 random facts now I have to 2 two extra more. Its amazing how these chain mails have evolve from the hand written ones when I was in grade school... to text forwards and email forwards... now its blog tagging. But At least this one doesn't curse you if you ever break the chain - wonder if anybody really got bad luck out of breaking chain mails... anyway on with the program!
Post the rules --
Each blogger starts with ten random facts/habits about themselves. Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their ten things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose ten people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling they're tagged, and to read your blog.1) My ultimate pinoy dish that I could eat forever on a daily basis is pancit bihon, sinigang na baboy, chapsuey, and authentic chicken inasal from bacolod - with rice lahat!
2) My yahoo mail is my very first ever email that I created 3rd year HS at the library... no internet at home yet. I named it as such because I was such a spice girls fan, I am posh spice! hahaha. hmm or maybe second email created, the first one is my hotmail account. Oh well both emails are still active to this day :)
3) One of my BFFs - Van is my friend since first year HS - 4th quarter. I'm pretty sure we became friends around that time since her birthday falls on the 3rd quarter of the school year and she invited everybody in class (well most if not all) for her birthday except for.. me! hahaha. And to this day I tell her that she didn't invite me - still bitter about it. Hahahaha! Joke! Aww the good old J8 days. hehehe.
4) When I was in grade school, I use to pay my tuition fee on a monthly basis on my own ever since grade one. My mom would give me a cheque payable to the school, and I would line up at the cashiers counter in the administration bldg, and give the cashier my monthly statement and cheque.
5) My allowance started out with 2pesos (from Grade 1 to 3)- composed of 3 pcs of 25 cents for calling using the red payphone incase of emergency plus, another set of 3pcs of 25 cents if I happen to dial a wrong number plus 50 cents for savings. 5 pesos (from Grade 4 to 6). then 50 pesos to 120 pesos in HS. Then down to 100 pesos to almost nothing when I graduated College - since I became an SA and didn't really need allowances anymore. So now you know why am I so frugal.
6) Best childhood memory... in relation to my allowances in #5, once in grade school 2 or 3, for some reason I got out of school early for the dismissal in the afternoon but too late to catch the school bus during lunch time. So I want to call my mom if she could fetch me from her office. Using my first set of 25 cents I called this number and the person who answered me said it was the wrong number. I don't know what I was thinking then as a child, I used my second set of 25 cents to dial the same number again to call and asked if my mom was there, expecting that I really didn't dial the wrong number but alas its really the wrong number. Haha! Now I only have 50 cents left... hmm how am I suppose to call her now! hahaha! I was almost into tears! I don't know how the hell I am going home! hahaha. I think a wandered the school grounds for hours not knowing how am I going to get home. But rescue came when the first trip of the school bus for the afternoon class came in. Yey! I'm saved.
7) In HS, after I was kicked out of the Star section (aka Honors class) after 1st year HS, I would enroll myself in the last section or the class with the most varsity players so that I would always be in the class Top 10 or better yet Top 3 of the class so that I could go on stage to get a certificate every quarter. Hahaha! I call it the under-over achiever! I was never popular in HS, never with the IN crowed, but I made sure that my teachers knew me and I get good enough grades. Plus it helps that I have uber smart BFFs (Van and Cess) who remained in the Star section that I get to study with the best (naks!) But I do remember having really smart friends in the classroom that doesn't like cheating so less pressure to cheat as well (hahaha madamot na sa madamot!)
8) If not a computer programmer today, I would probably be an architect. But then again, while filling up entry forms for colleges, Van introduced me to an up and coming course, Computer Science - the second most expensive course in La Salle during my time. She told me that I would get a really high paying job when we graduate.... hmmmmm(contemplating if she was right???)... then about the same time our computer subject showed us a number of computer viruses which I thought was cool, I would make me one when I learn how to program. Almost 10 years after graduating HS, I have never made one yet. hahaha.
9) (Now I'm feeling glad I have to make 10 instead of 8 - I'm enjoying this) When I was like really young to even sit on my own ass, the maid would sit me infront of the TV with 2 pillows holding me on each of my side so that I won't fall down and a feeding bottle clasp in my 2 hands and feet. The maid would do this so that she could do her household chores, I would watch the TV the whole day and would not make a sound. I know this as a fact since my mom would always tell me why I am sooo addicted to watching TV even in wee hours of the morning with cable - yes I would tell you that cable tv is a NEED and not a want, good thing I think my housemate does think it is as well.
10) My pet peeve would be someone who I told a secret and told him/her not to tell and really I meant what I said, that its a darn secret, MY secret and shouldn't be told, but then he/she tells it to somebody else anyway. Grr! I have trust issues! People who are close to me knows it. And God knows how many times I told friends never to be friends with me again just because of one shallow secret told.
Now for the 10 people I think who would enjoy doing this but I don't know if the would have time... sana, hehehe
